"What a nice cozy place for lunch by the marina! There is a menu of the day that is around 18 euros and you get to choose from a variety of starters, mains and desserts. Definitely recommending trying paella and the artichokes with the egg and bacon!"

"This was our last place before hopping on the plane, and it was great. The food and service were excellent. I very much recommend the Arroz Negro and the cheesecake, which tastes so much better than the American style cheesecake we're used to."

"I've been here following a friend suggestion and I wasn't disappointed. The paella was amazing and also the starters and wine where good. Keep in mind that this is in an industrial area so you'll need a car or a taxi to reach it. Reservations are almost mandatory"

"Really really liked this little restaurant by the marina. Delicious rice and excellent product quality. The maitre/waiter is really knowledgeable and will be of most help. On top of this, you won't spend a fortune in a lovely dinner out with plenty of wine- double win."

"Great dinning experience in Alicante! La Mar de Arroz is a small and cosy restaurant by the Marina. It offers a nice variety of dishes (specially arroces) and wines, and has outside sitting possibilities. Their lunch menu is very competitive. I recommend you make a reservation a few days in advance as it is a popular place for lunch (both during the week or weekend)."
